How to measure

Lay a tape measure flat against the relevant part of your body — or against a similar item that already fits you well — and compare it to the chart above.

Where it applies, measure both sides and use the larger measurement. Allow a little room for comfort.

Choose the size that matches your measurement in cm.

Between two sizes? We recommend choosing the larger size.

BUILT FOR REAL WALKING

Freedom underfoot, step after step

Feather-light feel

Barely-there weight you stop noticing, even on a long day out.

Natural toe splay

A wide toe box lets your foot spread and grip the ground as it should.

Sure-footed grip

Sure-footed grip

A flexible rubber outsole holds on over wet rock, roots and loose ground.

An end to pinched, aching feet

An end to pinched, aching feet

Stiff boots squeeze the toes and leave hot spots that build over a long walk. Terrix takes the opposite approach: a roomy toe box, a low platform and a sole that bends with your foot. You finish the walk thinking about the view, not your feet.
Grip you can trust when it's wet

Grip you can trust when it's wet

Wet rock, damp roots and greasy paving are where most shoes let go. The Terrix outsole uses a deep multi-directional tread that clears water and bites into uneven ground. You keep a steady pace in British weather instead of picking your way.

Light on foot

You forget you're wearing it

Non-slip outsole

Holds on wet rock and roots

Water-repellent upper

Shrugs off light rain

Wide toe box

Room for toes to spread

From woodland trail to weekday errands

From woodland trail to weekday errands

Terrix handles moss-covered paths, loose stone and steady climbs without fighting your stride. The same shoe works for the school run, the dog walk and a day in town. One pair covers the weekend and the week, so it stays by the door.
Built to keep its shape

Built to keep its shape

The upper is breathable knit mesh with a water-repellent finish, so feet stay cool without soaking through in light rain. Reinforced stitching runs across the toe and heel, where wear starts first. A simple build, chosen so the shoe lasts more than one season.

FAQ

What does barefoot actually mean here?

It means a flat, low-profile sole with no raised heel and very little padding, so your foot moves and flexes naturally. The shoe protects you from the ground without cushioning you off it.

Should I size up or down?

Take your usual UK size and check there is a few millimetres of room in front of your longest toe. Barefoot shoes are meant to be roomy at the front, not tight.

How do I clean them?

Hand wash in lukewarm water with mild soap and air dry away from direct heat. Avoid the washing machine and harsh chemicals, which break down the glue and the mesh.

Can I use them for light trail running?

Yes for easy trails and shorter distances. For very rough ground or long runs, a thicker and more protective sole is the better choice.

How are these different from normal walking boots?

Boots focus on cushioning and ankle support, which adds stiffness and weight. Terrix prioritises foot freedom and ground feel, so your own foot does more of the work.
