Strap to any trees

Two adjustable tree straps and steel carabiners loop around a pair of trunks and clip on in under a minute — no knots, tools or hardware to fiddle with.

Zip out the bugs

A fine mosquito net zips fully closed over the hammock, sealing you in away from midges, mosquitoes and flies on warm summer evenings.

Cover off the weather

The waterproof rain fly pitches over the top with guy ropes and stakes, throwing off sun and showers so you can lie out in any weather.

Relax without the bugs

Relax without the bugs

Warm evenings outdoors usually mean swatting away midges and mosquitoes. The Swayora's fine mesh net zips right around the hammock, sealing you in so the bugs stay out. You get to lie back, read or doze off in peace while everyone else is busy slapping their arms.
Ready for sun or showers

Ready for sun or showers

British weather rarely stays put for long, so the Swayora comes with a waterproof rain fly. Pitch it over the top with the guy ropes and stakes and it shrugs off both glare and rain. When the sun comes back out, drop the fly and enjoy the open air again.

FAQ

How much weight does it hold?

The Swayora is made from strong 210T ripstop nylon with double-stitched seams and steel carabiners, and comfortably holds a single adult — around 150kg for everyday recreational use. We'd avoid bouncing or having two people climb in at once, as it is sized as a single-person hammock.

How do I hang it up?

Loop the two tree straps around a pair of sturdy trees roughly three to four metres apart, then clip the hammock's carabiners onto the straps at the height you like. There are no knots to tie, and the whole set-up takes about a minute once you've found your spot.

Does it really keep insects out?

Yes. A fine mosquito net covers the entire hammock and zips closed from the inside, so midges, mosquitoes and flies stay out while you relax or sleep. When you don't need it, the net unclips and folds away so you can lie out under open sky.

Will the rain fly keep me dry?

The rain fly is made from coated polyester with a 2000mm waterproof rating and pitches over the hammock using the included guy ropes and stakes. It keeps off light to moderate rain and strong sun. In heavy, wind-driven storms we'd still recommend pitching it low and close to the hammock.

How small does it pack down?

The complete kit — hammock, net, rain fly, straps, stakes and ropes — folds into the supplied carry bag at roughly 24 by 16 centimetres and weighs about 850 grams. It slips easily into a rucksack or car boot, ready to hang again wherever you stop.
