Which chainsaws does it fit?

It suits most 14 to 20 inch guide bars. The twin guide holes and adjustable rivet let it clamp onto a wide range of saws.

How do I use it?

Open the panel, seat the chain on the two holes, close the panel and push the safety buckle, then gently press down until the tooth meets the whetstone and draw the chain through.

What if my bar has only one hole?

Remove the inner metal plate with a Phillips screwdriver and take out the adjustable rivet. The sharpener then works fine on a single-hole bar.

Can I replace the stone?

Yes. The whetstone is detachable, and spare stones are included — when one wears down, simply swap in a fresh one.

Do I still need safety gear?

Yes. Always wear gloves and eye protection, and keep the saw switched off and still while you sharpen.
