Why choose Boreva?
FAQ
Are these fully waterproof?
The outer shell is water-repellent and handles rain, slush and wet grass. It is not a sealed boot, so deep puddles and long immersion will get through eventually.
Can I wear them if I am new to barefoot shoes?
Yes, but build up slowly. Start with shorter walks so your feet and calves adjust to the thin, flat sole.
Do they grip on snow and ice?
The deep-lug rubber sole grips well on packed snow, wet pavement and frozen gravel. Sheet ice still calls for care, as with any shoe without spikes.
Will my feet stay warm without thick socks?
The fleece lining keeps most people warm in normal winter conditions. Add a merino sock for long, static time outdoors.
Are they suitable for wide feet?
The toe box is cut deliberately wide so toes can spread naturally. Wide-footed wearers usually find them roomier than a standard trainer.
